Over the last nine months, we’ve seen local organizations help our community in extraordinary ways – and now you can help us help them.
In the spirit of the holidays, take a moment to nominate a non-profit organization that’s doing good. Your nominee can be large or small, and must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
MFS Pay It Forward Award
Five winners will each receive a $1,500 award!
Then, each winning organization will “pay it forward” to another local charity – and Maspeth Federal Savings will award those charities with $500 each.
To promote social distancing, we are only accepting online entries.
Nominations close on December 31st.
The winners will be announced on Friday, January 8th, 2021.

No purchase necessary. Must be 18 years of age or older. Open to Not-for-Profit (501c3) organizations and residents in Queens and Nassau counties. Employees of Maspeth Federal Savings Bank and their immediate family members are not eligible. The winning organizations will be selected by an internal Maspeth Federal Savings Bank panel, and will be announced on January 8, 2021, on our website and social media. Winners will be contacted to discuss how to claim their award. Each winning organization will recommend two (2) charities in their communities that would benefit from a $500 grant to be funded by Maspeth Federal Savings Bank. Odds of winning dependent upon number of submissions received. The decision by the Maspeth Federal Savings Bank panel is final. No account opening or purchase is required to participate in the award donations.
A 1099-Misc may be issued at year end; all applicable taxes and gratuities are the responsibility of the recipient. Offer may be withdrawn or amended without prior notice.
