The Branch Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of the branch and working with the Branch Assistant Manager with managerial and administrative functions. Provides support, guidance, and training to staff. The Branch Manager is responsible for initiating relationships within the community and building the customer base of the branch.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensures a well-functioning, cohesive team of retail employees who provide optimal customer service
- Provide coaching, training, and regular feedback to all branch employees
- Manages branch employee schedule
- Monitors and supervises branch activity involving equipment, safe deposit boxes, cash on hand, and branch maintenance
- Oversees audit procedures to ensure compliance with controls. Report any weaknesses to Director of Retail Banking
- Ensures that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the Comptroller of Currency and other regulatory agencies
- Administers the security and safety of the branch. Responsible for all staff members following applicable policies and procedures
- Builds relationships within the community as a representative of Maspeth Federal
- Initiates outreach to potential and existing customers of the bank
- Advocates for an exemplary customer experience. Resolves elevated customer complaints as needed
- Performs other duties as necessary
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
- A minimum of five years’ experience in branch operations and 3 years’ supervisory experience
- Proven leadership, coaching, and teambuilding skills
- Proven success building and maintaining customer relationships
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods
- Must be able to travel to branch locations for business related matters
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of teller staff and all branch functions associated with processing customer transactions and providing routine bank services. The position requires leadership, organizational, and communication skills in order to motivate staff, effectively organize and delegate duties among staff members, and provide a quality customer service experience to every customer or visitor. Ensures that all bank policies and procedures are followed.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist tellers including daily proving.
- Ensure staff is well trained and a friendly, professional branch environment is maintained.
- Ensure staff has a good working knowledge of bank products and services, listen attentively to customers, provide accurate information, and regularly identify opportunities to help customers with additional products and services, including referrals to other areas of the bank.
- Provide strong support for any sales and service initiatives undertaken by the bank and regularly discuss customer service goals and concerns with staff.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of bank products, services, procedures, and regulatory requirements in order to assist staff members with questions and difficult or complex tasks.
- Supply teller and reserve cash and determine future cash needs and order accordingly.
- Scheduling of teller work assignment re: Saturdays, evenings, vacations, breaks, and lunches.
- Initialing of all cash withdrawals of $3,000.00 and over, and recording of all currency transactions of $10,000.00 or more.
- Check deposit and withdrawal slips daily for all currency transactions over $10,000.00 to ensure proper procedure was followed.
- Assist customers with regard to inquiries or problems.
- Following proper security procedures, opens and closes vaults.
- Ensures that staff adheres to all association policies and procedures, includes taking disciplinary action.
- Works Saturdays on a rotational basis.
- Other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assists with or performs all tasks as designated by the Branch Manager.
- Assumes all Branch Manager responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager as follows:
utilize judgment and decision making capabilities to oversee, supervise, and monitor entire operation of the branch including, but not limited to: tellers, front office, safe deposit, typist duties, branch maintenance and office equipment.
- Ensures an open door policy to discuss employee problems or suggestions.
- Conducts performance evaluations.
- Implements disciplinary action as needed.
- Schedules work assignments, Saturday lists, and time off of branch staff.
- Delegates job assignments as necessary.
- Ensures that staff adheres to all association policies and procedures.
- Oversees and implements branch security program with regard to procedures, testing, and training.
- Designated as Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Officer.
- Approves, under terms and conditions established by management, various types of transactions.
- Monitors branch cash on hand.
- Verifies and approves consolidated and vouchers.
- Monitors branch inventories and log books.
- Conducts monthly inventories in accordance with audit procedures.
- Assists customers with regard to inquiries or problems.
- Assists tellers with daily proof, attempts to locate differences, and attempts to recover cash shortages.
- Verifies, monitors and issues petty cash.
- Monitors and accounts for branch supplies.
- Works Saturdays on a rotational basis.

Salary Range: $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
