We take safety and security seriously and monitor account activity to protect you from fraudulent charges.

If you plan on traveling, please notify us 2 business days prior to your departure so you don't experience issues when using your card while away.

To prevent any delay in processing this request, please be sure to follow the instructions below when submitting your request.

Log into your Maspeth online banking account
Go to Customer Service Tab
Click Contact Us
Select Travel Notifications from the “Subject” drop-down menu
Provide the following information in the message box:
- Last four digits of your debit card
- Dates of departure and return
- Names of destinations and countries, including layovers. If traveling to multiple destinations or layovers, please be sure to include dates for each.

1. Don't carry large amounts of cash

2. Keep the customer service phone number of your bank handy in case you experience any issues

3. Streamline your wallet – only carry what you need and leave your checkbook at home

4. Do NOT carry your social security card

5. Keep track of your purchases while away

6. Check guides and reviews before you book tours or excursions

7. Stay alert, know your surroundings and plan your routes in advance

8. Avoid oversharing on social media while away
