Maspeth Federal Savings proudly announces the 50th anniversary of its Fresh Meadows branch. Located at 185-18 Horace Harding Expressway, the branch opened its doors half a century ago. Since then, it has served as a trusted landmark for neighborhood families and local business owners. As the area has evolved and diversified, so has the bank. Today its staff assists customers in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Russian, Tagalog and Spanish.
Maspeth Federal Savings has long been recognized for its heavy investment in the communities where they operate. The bank has supported organizations in the surrounding area such as St. John’s University and Queensboro Community College through donations, sponsorships and internship opportunities. Most recently, MFS has partnered with Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College to support their 2026-27 family programming events.
To thank its loyal customers, the Fresh Meadows branch hosted a special anniversary celebration inside the branch.
