6 COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS On April 24th, we held our highly anticipated Earth Day recycle event . Hundreds of cars came through the Main Office parking lot to drop off their papers to be shredded. Many also brought their old electronics to be recycled. C.O.M.E.T as well as our local precincts were also there to offer free VIN-etching. Main Office Events 56-18 69th Street Forest Hills Event 101-09 Metropolitan Ave. During National Police Week, (May 9th - 15th) we thanked our local law enforcement with a special lunch and Certificate of Appreciation to the police officers who do so much for us in our community. On June 24th, members of our Mortgage Department, joined by local industry professionals, hosted a Virtual First Time Homebuyers Workshop. This event was our very first virtual event and it was a big success. We are looking forward to bringing you more virtual events this year. On June 16th, hundreds of families joined us in New Hyde Park for a Summer Concert to sing and dance along to Jimmy Buffet tunes.
