Issue 9 - Summer 2021

7 We officially reopened our new and improved drive-up in Forest Hills on June 23rd. Our Board of Directors, employees, community leaders, customers, and friends came together to celebrate. Tom Rudzewick made a ceremonial drive through in a 1947 Cadillac to welcome the crowd. He also thanked everyone who had a hand in the extensive project and joined the Board for an official ribbon cutting ceremony! NEW AND IMPROVED FOREST HILLS DRIVE-UP "Renovating the drive-up in Forest Hills is a representation of our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with the most convenient and enhanced services." -Thomas Rudzewick, President & CEO HONORING OUR COUNTRY'S HEROES Honoring our country's veterans and service members has always been important to us. Although the Maspeth Memorial Day Parade was cancelled this year due to city restrictions, we still found ways to bring our community together to honor and celebrate those who have served our country. As a tribute to our military men and women, we displayed banners with messages of appreciation for all branches of the military along the gates at Maspeth Memorial Square. We also offered tags, which customers added personal messages to and hung on the gates in honor of their loved ones who served. New trees were also planted in the area, thanks to the help of C.O.M.E.T. and Assemblymember Brian Barnwell . Refreshments were also served as guests toured the building to admire the improvements, which include: • two new drive-up lanes, including a new drive-up ATM • a modernized storefront with beautiful landscaping • an EV charging station • a more accessible parking lot • a new interior ATM
