New Drive-Thru Experience Coming to Forest Hills
Jan 07, 2021
Great news Forest Hills, construction is underway for our new and improved drive-thru at our branch located at 101-09 Metropolitan Avenue.
Constructed in 1974, our Forest Hills branch has served thousands of families and small businesses in the community - many through our convenient drive-thru lanes. In recent years, the demand for drive-thru services and heavier traffic on Metropolitan Avenue has led management to look for opportunities to improve our drive-thru experience.
With the purchase of the parking lot adjacent to the building, we are proud to announce that our new drive-thru will officially open in Spring, 2021. This renovation project will provide:
- two new lanes that maximize space and provide more room for larger vehicles
- more convenient and safer entry/exit points
- space for the installation of a NEW drive-up ATM
In addition to our drive-thru renovations, we'll brighten the exterior of the branch with modern signage, add electric charging stations and reconfigure our entry ramp for more convenient access. Plus, we've already added a new ATM with added banking features to our vestibule.
"We are proud to display our commitment to providing safe, convenient and accessible banking to our customers in Forest Hills." said Thomas Rudzewick, President and CEO. "We anticipate this project to be completed in the Spring and look forward to continuing to invest in products, services and upgrades that improve your experience with MFS" he added.
During the renovation our branch remains open to serve the community. Parking is available in the smaller lot. We encourage you to visit our news hub or Facebook page for updates on our progress and Grand Re-Opening announcements.
