7 $900k+ Charitable Giving in 2018 Since its inception in 2008, MFS has been an integral part of the St. Stan's Endowment Committee. C omprised of nine members of the community, including members of the Board and Senior staff of MFS, the committee works tirelessly to fundraise and raise awareness of St. Stan's school and its excellence in education. Recently, MFS announced that it will donate $250,000 to fund an enhanced STEM Lab that will be known as "STREAM". This lab will position St. Stan's to be a pioneer of learning in Queens. With state-of-the art technology and resources, the lab will also incorporate aspects of Religion and the Arts to enhance the learning experience for the students. COMMUNITY FEATURE... ST. STANISLAUS KOSTKA ENDOWMENT Each year MFS donates time, money and resources to many local community and charitable organizations like the Endowment. In fact, July was "Make a Difference to Children" month. We are proud to have donated over $280K in 2018, to organizations that make a difference in the lives of children and their families. A BANK THAT GIVES I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Committee for its unparalleled support of our Academy and its continued success. Each member does not merely support our school with their words, but does so with their actions and their financial support.
