7 IN THE COMMUNITY Have you ever visited the NYC panorama at Queens Museum? If you haven't, it's definitely a sight to see! MFS is thrilled to be included in this iconic exhibit. Through the museum's "Adopt A Building" program, we contributed a monetary donation that allowed us to "adopt" each of our branch buildings in the panorama. We even received a title deed for each adopted property, which are proudly displayed in each of our locations. Queens Museum Panorama Pay It Forward Campaign Through this campaign six non-profit organizations received a $1,000 grant from MFS. Additionally, they were able to pay it forward by recommending another organization, who was rewarded with a $500 grant. SMALL BUSINESS HIGHLIGHT Contact Continental Pastry for your next special occassion! 65-51 Grand Avenue Maspeth, NY 11378 Through our partnership with the Queens Chamber of Commerce, we were able to create a program to help small businesses in our community. Our first stop was to Continental Pastry , a shop that has been baking delicious pastries in Maspeth since 1972. To thank them for their commitment and help them through the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, MFS is covering their first-year Queens Chamber of Commerce membership dues. This will allow them to have access to several resources such as workshops, networking opportunities, assistance with grant applications and more!
