Our founders were confident that we would become intertwined in the fabric of Queens and Long Island communities as we grew into a network of six retail locations and a loan center that has issued more than 28,000 mortgages. They would be proud that our sound fiscal management has enabled us to reach $2.2 billion in assets today after our humble start. From our beginnings in Maspeth, where we quickly became a pillar of the community, Maspeth Federal has remained committed to meeting the public’s banking needs as it expanded to more neighborhoods – Rego Park, Forest Hills, Fresh Meadows, New Hyde Park, and Ridgewood – and now serves so many more areas through digital and mobile access. We have invested in diverse neighborhoods by making the dream of home ownership possible for thousands of families. We have donated millions of dollars to civic groups, charities, schools, hospitals, and other nonprofits, enhancing the quality of life in Queens and on Long Island.
